Daokedao’s Portable Laser Cladding: On-Site Repairs for Norwegian Offshore Platforms

Norwegian offshore platforms need on-site repairs for equipment (e.g., pipes, valves) that can’t be transported. Daokedao’s portable laser cladding equipment is designed for this.

The equipment weighs only 80kg (easy to lift with platform cranes) and runs on 220V power. A Stavanger offshore platform used it to repair a leaking pipe: the repair took 2 hours, avoiding a 3-day production halt.

Its waterproof design (IP65 rating) resists sea spray, and its cold-resistant components work in -30℃. For Norwegian offshore operations, this portability and durability are essential.
