Automotive HVAC evaporators cool cabin air, requiring good air tightness, corrosion resistance, and moisture resistance, ensuring efficient cooling and preventing refrigerant leakage. Traditional mechanical fastening has gaps, leading to refrigerant leakage and reduced cooling efficiency, while adhesive bonding degrades under moisture. DaokeDao laser welding is suitable for PP and ABS evaporator housings, forming a hermetic weld with leakage rate ≤0.005ml/min, completely blocking refrigerant leakage. The weld has excellent corrosion resistance, withstanding refrigerant and moisture erosion, and the heat-affected zone ≤0.25mm, avoiding material deformation. The equipment supports large-size housing welding, cycle time 10-13 seconds per unit, suitable for mass production of HVAC component suppliers, improving cooling efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.
