The top cover of electric vehicle battery packs is a key component for sealing and protecting internal battery modules, requiring high hermeticity, flame retardancy, and structural stability, operating under high temperature and pressure fluctuations. Traditional mechanical fastening has gaps, leading to moisture and dust intrusion, while adhesive bonding degrades under long-term high-temperature exposure. DaokeDao plastic laser welding provides a reliable sealing solution for flame-retardant PC/ABS and PA66-GF top cover materials, fully complying with IATF 16949 and EV battery safety standards. The laser achieves ±0.01mm positioning accuracy, forming a molecular-level hermetic seal (IP67 rating), with leakage rate ≤0.001ml/min, completely blocking external contaminants. The heat-affected zone is controlled within 0.25mm, avoiding material deformation and damage to internal battery modules. Our equipment supports large-size top cover welding (up to 800mm in length), with automated loading and unloading integration, production capacity 60 pieces per hour, pass rate ≥99.3%. By enhancing the sealing performance of battery packs, DaokeDao laser welding helps EV manufacturers extend battery service life and improve overall safety.
