Automotive fuel injectors are critical for engine efficiency and emissions control, delivering precise amounts of fuel into the combustion chamber. These components operate under high pressure (up to 350 bar), high temperatures (up to 140°C), and exposure to gasoline and engine oil, requiring robust sealing and structural integrity. Traditional assembly methods like brazing or adhesive bonding often fail to meet these demands—brazing introduces excessive heat that distorts components, while adhesives degrade under chemical exposure. DaokeDao plastic laser welding offers a precise, low-thermal-impact solution for fuel injector housings made of engineering plastics like PA66-GF and PPS. The non-contact process focuses laser energy on the weld joint with ±0.01mm positioning accuracy, creating a molecular bond with tensile strength up to 92% of the base material. It achieves IP67 hermetic sealing (helium leak rate ≤1×10⁻⁹ mbar·L/s), preventing fuel leakage and ensuring consistent fuel delivery. The heat-affected zone is limited to ≤0.3mm, avoiding distortion of internal valves and nozzles. Our systems support high-volume production (up to 110 units/hour) with real-time process monitoring, complying with IATF 16949 standards.
