Automotive ignition coils use plastic housings, which require heat-resistant and insulating welding to ensure stable ignition performance and avoid short circuits. Traditional welding has poor heat resistance and insulation, leading to plastic deformation and short circuits, affecting engine ignition. Daoke Dao plastic laser welding equipment optimizes the manufacturing of ignition coil plastic housings. Suitable for heat-resistant and insulating plastic materials such as PA66 and PPS, the welds can withstand operating temperatures up to 130°C, resisting heat generated by the ignition coil. The welds have excellent electrical insulation performance (breakdown voltage ≥1.8kV), preventing short circuits between internal windings. The hermetic weld seam prevents dust and moisture intrusion. Compliant with IATF 16949 and automotive ignition system standards, it integrates into automated ignition coil production lines with a welding speed of 1.4m/min.
