The joint shaft of drill pipe of oil drilling rig is the key component to connect the drill pipe. In the deep well drilling operation, it needs to withstand high pressure, high temperature, high torque and multiple erosion of mud medium. Under the deep well environment, the temperature can reach above 150 ℃. The mud contains a large amount of sand particles and chemicals, which cause serious wear and corrosion to the joint shaft of the drill pipe. It is easy to occur joint shaft wear overrun, corrosion perforation and other failures, resulting in the failure of the drill pipe, not only affecting the drilling efficiency, but also causing serious accidents such as drill sticking and well collapse. The traditional joint shaft reinforcement process (such as spraying) coating has weak binding force, easy to fall off, and difficult to adapt to the extreme working condition of deep well. Based on the extreme working conditions of the drill pipe joint shaft of the drilling rig, the Dow Laser Cladding Equipment adopts the high temperature corrosion resistant alloy coating cladding scheme. The coating can withstand the high temperature above 150 ℃, effectively resist the erosion of mud medium, and the wear rate is reduced by 80% compared with the traditional joint shaft.
The equipment adopts automatic cladding process, which can realize batch strengthening treatment of drill pipe joint shaft. The cladding layer is metallurgically bonded with the joint shaft matrix, with bonding strength ≥ 500MPa and not easy to fall off. An oil field reinforced 50 drill pipe joint shafts. These joint shafts had to be replaced every 120 wells in the deep well operation before, and the replacement cost of a single joint shaft exceeded 5000 yuan. The service life of a single joint shaft is extended to 300 wells after being reinforced by Dow laser cladding, the replacement times are reduced by 67%, and the operation cost of a single well is reduced by 12000 yuan. Meanwhile, the enhanced joint shaft has better sealing performance, effectively avoiding mud leakage and improving the safety of drilling operation. High-efficiency cladding process of the equipment enables the strengthening time of single joint shaft to be only 40 minutes, completely meeting the requirements of oilfield large-scale operation.
