Centrifugal fan blade is the key component of ventilation, dust removal and smoke exhaust system in industrial production, and its performance directly affects the ventilation efficiency and operation stability of the fan. In the long-term operation process, the blade needs to withstand the scouring of dusty airflow, dust adhesion and corrosion of acid and alkali gases, and the blade surface abrasion, dust deposit, corrosion perforation and other problems are easy to occur. Blade wear and fouling will damage its aerodynamic shape, resulting in reduced ventilation efficiency, increased fan operating load and increased energy consumption; Corrosion shortens the life of the blade and increases equipment maintenance costs. Traditional repair methods (such as polishing and painting) have short effects and cannot fundamentally solve abrasion and corrosion problems; Expensive to replace with a new blade. Aiming at the abrasion and corrosion problems of centrifugal fan blades, Dow Laser cladding equipment adopts the cladding scheme of wear-resistant self-cleaning alloy coating. The coating has excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance, smooth surface, good self-cleaning performance and low dust accumulation.

The equipment can accurately repair the worn and corroded parts of the blade and restore the aerodynamic shape of the blade to ensure smooth air flow. Metallurgical bonding between cladding and blade matrix, bonding strength ≥ 400MPa, service life 2 times longer than that of blade not repaired. In a plant, the blades of the boiler centrifugal fan were severely worn due to the scouring of the dusty airflow, the ventilation efficiency was reduced by 20%, the energy consumption of the motor was increased by 15%, and the blade cleaning period was only 10 days. The ventilation efficiency is improved by 10%, the energy consumption of the motor is reduced by 8%, and the annual electricity cost can be saved by over 60000 yuan after the repair with the Dow laser cladding equipment; Blade cleaning cycle is extended to 60 days, reducing manual maintenance costs. The repair cost is only 30% of the replacement cost, and the cost saved by a single wind turbine is over 80000 yuan. At the same time, the corrosion resistance of the blade after cladding is improved, which is applicable to the severe working conditions containing acid and alkali gases, further expanding the application scope of the fan.
