Ceramic forming molds are subject to wear and tear from ceramic bodies during tile and porcelain pressing, while traditional steel molds have a service life of only 10000 to 30000 molds. The Daokedao automated laser cladding equipment uses SiC-Al2O3 silicon carbide composite powder to melt a 2-3mm wear-resistant layer on the surface of the mold cavity. The hardness of the cladding layer is HRC75-80, and its wear resistance is 10 times higher than that of mold steel. It can withstand high temperatures up to 800 ℃ and is suitable for hot pressing before ceramic sintering. According to application data from a certain ceramic factory, the service life of the melted mold has been extended to 100000 to 150000 molds, the surface defect rate of ceramic products has been reduced by 5%, and the precision melting technology of the equipment cavity ensures the consistency of the size of ceramic products.
