During the brick-making process, the press roller of the brick press machine is subjected to high pressure and abrasive wear from mud and sand. Traditional overlay welding repairs involve significant heat input, which can easily cause cracks in the roller (with a cracking rate exceeding 35%). Additionally, the hardness of the overlay layer is uneven (HRC 45-50), leading to rapid wear and a service life of only 2-3 months.

The Daoke Dao laser cladding equipment employs low-stress cladding technology, with a heat input of only 1/6 that of overlay welding. It produces no cracks after roller repair and achieves a repair success rate of 99%. Using tungsten carbide-iron-based composite powder, the cladding layer maintains stable hardness at HRC65-68, with wear resistance five times that of traditional overlay welding.
