The turbine blades operate in a high-temperature and high-pressure steam environment for a long time, which is prone to erosion and fatigue wear. The cost of replacing a single blade with a new one exceeds 100000 yuan. The Daokedao automated laser cladding equipment uses Stellite 6 cobalt based alloy powder to repair critical parts such as damaged blade tops and backs. Through 3D scanning modeling and automatic path planning functions, the blade surface contour is accurately matched, and the cladding layer is metallurgically bonded to the substrate. The high temperature resistance strength is above 800 ℃, and the hardness is HRC58-62. After repair, the blade performance is better than the new product. A case study of a thermal power plant shows that using this equipment to repair 10 damaged blades only takes 3 days, and the repair cost is only 1/5 of that of new products. After repair, the blades have been running stably for 2 years without any faults, fully reflecting the economic value of remanufacturing.
