PE gas pipelines have high requirements for pressure resistance, and the wear of screws leads to uneven plasticization of the melt. The pass rate of pressure resistance testing for pipelines is only 90%. Daokedao adopts Ni-B-Si alloy cladding technology, with a surface coating hardness of HRC58-62 on the screw, a threefold increase in wear resistance, a surface roughness of Ra0.08 μ m on the screw edge, and a 40% improvement in plasticization uniformity. For the screw of the Φ 160mm PE gas pipeline, the thickness of the cladding layer is 1.2mm, and the clearance between it and the material cylinder is controlled at 0.2-0.25mm. The extrusion pressure fluctuation is reduced to ± 0.5MPa. After strengthening, the service life of the screw has been extended from 10 months to 30 months. After application in a pipeline factory, the pass rate of the PE pipeline pressure test has increased to 99.8%, and the circumferential tensile strength has increased by 15%, reaching the GB 15558.1 gas pipeline standard. The equipment is equipped with specialized process parameters for gas pipelines, suitable for extrusion of pipes of different specifications such as SDR11 and SDR17.6, to help enterprises ensure the safety of gas transportation.
