When glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) is extruded, the glass fiber particles cause severe wear on the screw, and the lifespan of ordinary screws is only 1-2 months. The wear of the screw edges leads to a 30% decrease in extrusion volume. Daokedao adopts WC TiC nanocomposite melting technology, with a surface coating hardness of HRC70 on the screw, 6 times higher wear resistance than traditional nitride screws, and a screw edge contour replication accuracy of ± 0.02mm, ensuring a stable fit gap with the barrel of 0.15-0.2mm. For the special screw of Φ 65mm FRP, the melting path is optimized to reduce glass fiber accumulation, extrusion resistance is reduced by 20%, and glass fiber dispersion uniformity is improved by 40%. After repair, the lifespan of the screw was extended to 12-15 months. After application in a composite material factory, the tensile strength of FRP products increased by 15%, and the surface glass fiber exposure defect rate decreased from 18% to 1.2%. The daily production of a single equipment increased by 8 tons, and the annual cost of screw replacement was saved by 150000 yuan. The device is equipped with a dedicated FRP process parameter library, which shortens the changeover and debugging time to 40 minutes and adapts to extrusion requirements with different glass fiber contents (10% -60%).
