The brake discs of new energy vehicles pursue lightweight, and although aluminum alloy materials are lightweight, their wear resistance is poor. Traditional cast iron discs are heavy and affect the range. Daokedao adopts the "aluminum alloy substrate+ceramic cladding layer" scheme to melt Al ₂ O ∝ - TiC composite coating on the surface of aluminum alloy brake discs. The coating hardness is HV1200, and the wear resistance is 8 times that of pure aluminum alloy. The overall weight is reduced by 40% compared to cast iron discs. By optimizing the cladding process, the bonding strength between the coating and the aluminum alloy substrate reached 300MPa, with no risk of detachment, and no cracks after 50000 brake tests. The strengthened brake discs are adapted to the energy recovery system of new energy vehicles, reducing braking noise by 15dB and increasing driving range by 2% -3%. After trial use by a certain new energy vehicle company, the brake disc replacement cycle has been extended from 80000 kilometers to 200000 kilometers and has been included in the mass production supporting system.
