Stamping die blade cracking is a high-frequency problem for hardware factories, and many manufacturers repeatedly step on the pit during repair. Today, engineers from Daokedao will answer the three most common questions. Question 1: Does the blade crack quickly after repair? The key reason is the poor matching between the cladding material and the substrate. Daokedao customizes alloy powders based on mold steel models (Cr12, SKD11, etc.), such as SKD11 mold adapted to W6Mo5Cr4V2 high-speed steel powder, with impact toughness ≥ 18J/cm ². Question 2: Is the sharpness of the blade insufficient after repair? The core issue is poor control of the light spot. We use a 0.08mm ultra-fine light spot, combined with a dedicated cutting edge fixture. After repair, the cutting edge angle error is ≤ 0.5 °, and it can be used without secondary grinding. Question 3: Does the deformation of the repaired mold affect the accuracy? The solution is low-temperature cladding technology, which reduces the heat input by 40%, the substrate temperature rise is ≤ 80 ℃, and the deformation is controlled within 0.01mm. After adopting this solution, a certain electronic component factory extended the lifespan of the blade after repair from 3000 times to 10000 times, and the scrap rate decreased from 15% to 2%.
