The Core Technical Logic of Mirror Surface Repair in Injection Molding Cavities

The mirror finish of injection mold cavities directly determines the surface quality of the molded parts. Traditional repair methods often suffer from the issue of "loss of gloss after repair" due to improper thermal input control. Daokedaole has solved this challenge through three technological innovations:  1. Utilizing a 1064nm fiber laser with a focused spot diameter compressed to 0.1mm, precisely controlling energy density between 10⁴-10⁵W/cm² to prevent surface oxidation caused by localized overheating.  2. Developing a specialized Ni-Cr-Si-B alloy powder with a spherical degree ≥95% and particle size distribution of 15-45μm, ensuring the cladding layer achieves a density of 99.8%.  3. Equipping a real-time laser interferometer calibration system, keeping cladding path errors within ≤0.005mm.  Field tests show that the repaired cavity surface achieves Ra 0.05μm roughness and 85° gloss, matching new molds. The cladding layer exhibits a bonding strength of 600MPa and extends service life by 1.5 times. This technology has passed ISO 9001 quality system certification and is suitable for high-gloss mold applications in home appliances and automotive interiors.
