Ceramic molds have high hardness but poor toughness, and are prone to microcracks leading to product damage. Traditional repairs are difficult to balance hardness and toughness. Daokedao adopts ceramic metal composite melting technology to melt Al ₂ O ∝+Ni alloy composite coating in the crack area of ceramic molds. The coating hardness reaches HV1200 and the impact toughness is ≥ 12J/cm ², which not only maintains high hardness of ceramic molds but also improves crack resistance performance. By using ultrasonic detection to locate microcracks, we ensure thorough repair and reduce the crack propagation rate of the mold to zero after repair. The equipment is equipped with a low-temperature cladding system to reduce the thermal shock of ceramic molds, and 5 sets of process parameters are pre-set for ceramic forming molds. After repair, the lifespan of the ceramic mold has been extended to 1.8 times its original lifespan, and the product damage rate has been reduced from 15% to 3%, making it suitable for the production of ceramic insulators and structural components.
