The surface precision of printing machine rollers directly impacts printing quality. Traditional chrome-plated rollers require stripping the old chrome layer for repair after wear, which takes 7 days and risks roller deformation. DaoKedaolaser cladding employs nickel-phosphorus alloy mirror cladding technology, eliminating the need to strip old coatings. It directly clads the worn surface with a coating thickness tolerance of ±0.01mm, achieving a post-polishing surface roughness of Ra0.05μm, matching new rollers. After repairing a φ300mm printing roller at a German printing factory, the repair time was reduced from 7 days to 1.5 days, extending the roller's lifespan from 3 years to 8 years, with single-roller repair costs amounting to just one-third of new rollers.
