The crusher hammers used in the construction waste and ore crushing industries are traditionally made of high manganese steel. Due to insufficient wear resistance, their lifespan is only about 200 hours, making them "disposable" consumables. The annual cost of purchasing hammers accounts for more than 20% of the company's operating costs. The Daokedao laser cladding equipment adopts high chromium cast iron+steel based composite cladding technology, forming a wear-resistant coating with a thickness of 3-5mm on the working surface of the hammer head, which increases the service life of the hammer head to 800 hours. More importantly, the worn hammer head can be reused through re cladding repair, with a repair cost of only 30% of a new hammer head. A single hammer head can be repaired three times, with a total service life of 3200 hours, which is 16 times that of traditional hammers.
