The aerator shaft of sewage treatment equipment is immersed in sewage for a long time, facing microbial corrosion and sediment wear. Traditional thermal spray coatings have high porosity and are prone to substrate corrosion and coating peeling due to water ingress, with a service life of only 1-2 years and frequent maintenance.

The Daokedao laser cladding equipment uses stainless steel composite powder that is resistant to sewage corrosion. The cladding layer has a density of 99.9% and a corrosion resistance of over 1500 hours in salt spray testing. The coating is metallurgically combined with the shaft, with a bonding strength exceeding 350MPa and a wear resistance four times that of thermal spraying.

The service life of the reinforced aerator shaft has been extended to 4-5 years, and the failure rate of sewage treatment equipment has been reduced by 90%. After adopting this technology in a certain sewage treatment plant, the annual maintenance cost has been saved by more than 500000 yuan, ensuring the stable operation of the sewage treatment system.
