In traditional tool machining, rapid tool wear leads to frequent tool changes, which not only affects machining efficiency but also increases tool procurement costs. The wear resistance of traditional coated cutting tools such as PVD and CVD is limited, and the problem of short service life is more prominent in the cutting of difficult to machine materials such as high-strength steel and titanium alloys.
