As the channel for the metal liquid to enter the mould cavity, the gate of the die casting die is subject to the high-speed scouring and friction of the high temperature metal liquid for a long time, which is easy to cause abrasion expansion, surface roughness and other problems, resulting in the poor flow of the metal liquid and the inclusion of bubbles, thus affecting the internal quality of the casting. Traditional polishing repairs require frequent shutdowns and do not fundamentally improve wear resistance, resulting in high maintenance costs.
Based on the working condition of the gate, the Dow laser cladding equipment adopts high temperature and wear-resistant alloy powder to precisely cladding and strengthen the inner wall of the gate. The formed coating has excellent high temperature resistance, maintains good hardness and abrasion resistance under the environment above 1000 ℃, and effectively resists the erosion of molten metal.
