Under the erosion of high-temperature and high-pressure steam medium, the sealing surface of the high-pressure shut-off valve disc often experiences groove like wear. Using the Daokedao laser cladding technology, cobalt based Stellite 21 alloy was deposited on the sealing surface of the 2Cr13 valve disc, with a cladding layer thickness of 2.5-3.5mm. By optimizing the process parameters (laser power of 2.5kW, scanning speed of 6mm/s, powder feeding rate of 18g/min), a high-quality cladding layer with a smooth surface and no cracks or pores was obtained. After repair and precision machining by a surface grinder, the flatness of the sealing surface reached 0.01mm and the surface roughness Ra0.8 μ m. The pressure test shows that the sealing performance of the repaired valve meets the ANSI B16.104 Level VI leakage standard, with a service life of 120% -150% of the new valve disc, and a cost of only 40% of the new valve disc. The delivery cycle has been shortened from 45 days to 7 days.
