Laser cladding repair of end caps has multiple advantages. Firstly, the cladding layer is metallurgically bonded to the substrate, with high bonding strength and resistance to detachment. Secondly, laser processing has low heat input, thin micro melting layer on the substrate surface (0.05~0.1mm), extremely small heat affected zone (0.05~0.1mm), and minimal workpiece deformation, making it particularly suitable for precision end cap repair.
