The engine crankshaft, as the core of power transmission, is subjected to alternating loads and journal friction for a long time, which can easily lead to journal wear and fatigue cracks at rounded corners. Traditional welding repair has a large heat affected zone (over 1mm), which can easily cause deformation of the crankshaft and result in replacement costs of tens of thousands of yuan. The fusion coating forms a metallurgical bond with the crankshaft substrate, with a bonding strength of over 320MPa. The fatigue resistance is close to that of the original new parts, and the wear resistance of the journal is twice that of the original car. After repair, the service life of the crankshaft can reach more than 85% of the new parts, while the repair cost is only 30% -40% of the replacement cost.
