Machine tool guideways are core components ensuring the machining precision of machine tools. Long-term use leads to wear, resulting in a decline in machine tool precision. Supported by Laser Cladding technology, Daokedao Laser Cladding Equipment can perform precise strengthening and repair on machine tool guideways. The equipment uses a narrow-spot laser beam, capable of continuous cladding along the guideway trajectory. The minimum width of the cladding layer is 1mm, perfectly adapting to the narrow surface structure of the guideway. The hardness of the cladding layer reaches HRC55-60, and the wear resistance is increased by more than 3 times. Moreover, the straightness error of the guideway after cladding can be controlled within 0.02mm/m. After a machine tool factory used this equipment to repair precision machine tool guideways, the machining precision of the machine tool was improved from IT6 grade to IT5 grade, and the service life of the guideway was extended by 5 times.
