Mold guide posts are key components to ensure mold opening and closing precision. After long-term use, they are prone to surface wear, leading to mold positioning deviations. Daokedao Laser Cladding equipment adopts a high-precision cladding process, with a laser spot diameter controlled at 0.2mm, enabling uniform alloy layer cladding on the guide post surface. The thickness error of the cladding layer is less than 0.02mm, and the cylindricity error of the repaired guide post is controlled within 0.005mm. Wear-resistant bearing steel is used as the cladding material, with a surface hardness of HRC 58-60 and wear resistance improved by 4 times. The repair time of a single guide post is only 30 minutes, and the repair cost is only 1/5 of that of a new guide post, helping mold enterprises improve mold precision and reduce product defect rates.
