Daokedao Laser Cladding Improves Valve Performance for Brazilian Petrochemical Plants

Brazilian petrochemical plants rely on valves to control fluid flow, but valve seats wear quickly due to corrosive chemicals. Daokedao’s laser cladding equipment enhances valve durability.

Its corrosion-resistant stainless steel coating (316L) resists sulfuric acid and crude oil corrosion. A Rio de Janeiro petrochemical plant tested it: valves coated with Daokedao’s equipment operated for 18 months without leaks, compared to 6 months for uncoated valves. This reduced maintenance frequency by 67% and prevented production halts.

The equipment’s precise coating control ensures the valve’s sealability—leak rate is less than 0.1ml/min, meeting ISO 5208 standards. For Brazilian petrochemical plants, this means safer, more efficient operations.
