Australian shipyards struggle with coating peeling on ship hulls due to rough seas. Daokedao’s high-bonding laser cladding solves this.

The equipment’s laser beam creates a metallurgical bond between coating and substrate, with bonding strength up to 600 MPa. A Perth shipyard used it to coat 5 ship hulls: after 3 years at sea, no coating peeling was found, compared to 1 year for traditional coatings.

The coating’s flexibility (elongation rate 15%) resists hull vibrations—critical for rough ocean conditions. For Australian shipyards, this high-bonding solution reduces maintenance frequency.
