Battery cell spacers separate individual battery cells in EV battery packs, ensuring proper heat dissipation and preventing short circuits. These spacers are made of flame-retardant plastics like PP and PA66-GF, requiring high structural strength and flame retardancy (UL94 V-0). Traditional assembly methods like adhesive bonding may degrade under high temperatures, while ultrasonic welding may not provide sufficient strength. DaokeDao plastic laser welding creates high-strength, flame-retardant welds (tensile strength ≥20MPa) for battery cell spacers. The non-contact process eliminates mechanical stress, preventing damage to battery cells. It forms a dense weld that withstands temperature cycles (-40°C to 150°C) and vibration, ensuring long-term stability. Our systems support small, precise spacer designs (thickness 1.0-2.0mm) and high-volume production (up to 120 units/hour), integrating seamlessly into automated battery assembly lines.
