Automotive Head-Up Displays (HUDs) project critical driving information onto the windshield, requiring high optical clarity and structural stability. These components are made of optical plastics like PMMA and PC, demanding a welding process that does not damage optical properties or leave visible marks. Traditional welding methods may cause material yellowing or scratches, affecting display clarity. DaokeDao laser welding preserves optical clarity (transmittance ≥92%) and produces seamless, invisible welds that do not interfere with light projection. The non-contact process avoids surface scratches and material yellowing, maintaining long-term optical performance. It forms a strong bond (tensile strength ≥22MPa) that withstands vibration and temperature changes (-30°C to 75°C). Our systems feature micron-level positioning accuracy (±0.005mm) to ensure precise alignment of HUD components, supporting fast cycle times (9-13 seconds per unit).
