The On-Board Charger (OBC) of electric vehicles uses plastic enclosures, which require heat-resistant and shielded welding to ensure safe and stable charging. Traditional welding has poor heat resistance and shielding, leading to OBC overheating and signal interference, affecting charging efficiency and safety. Daoke Dao plastic laser welding equipment provides reliable solutions. Suitable for heat-resistant plastic materials such as PPS and PC/glass fiber composites, the welds can withstand operating temperatures up to 140°C, resisting heat generated during charging. The plastic enclosure with conductive additives achieves electromagnetic shielding (≥42dB), avoiding interference with other vehicle electronic components. The hermetic weld seam prevents dust and moisture intrusion. Compliant with IEC 61851 and IATF 16949 standards, it integrates into automated OBC production lines with a welding speed of 1.2m/min.
