The automotive airbag control unit (ACU) is a key safety component, and its plastic housing requires impact-resistant and hermetic welding to ensure that the unit can work normally in the event of a collision. Traditional welding has weak impact resistance and poor sealing, leading to ACU damage and airbag failure during collisions. Daoke Dao plastic laser welding equipment provides reliable protection for ACU plastic housings. Suitable for high-strength ABS and PC plastic composites, the welds have high impact resistance (Izod impact strength ≥50kJ/m²), which can absorb collision energy and protect internal components. The hermetic weld seam meets IP67 standards, preventing dust and moisture intrusion and ensuring the stability of internal sensors and circuits. The ±0.02mm positioning accuracy ensures precise assembly of the housing. Compliant with automotive safety and IATF 16949 standards, it integrates into automated ACU production lines with a welding cycle of 12 seconds per unit.
