Recently, Daokedao Laser Technology Co., Ltd. announced that its independently developed "Mold Precision Laser Cladding Repair System" has achieved large-scale application in the automotive mold industry. As of now, it has served more than 50 automotive parts companies nationwide, helping customers reduce mold maintenance costs by an average of 30%. This system addresses the high-frequency wear issues of automotive die-casting and stamping molds by innovatively adopting the "composite powder+low-temperature cladding" technology, which solves the pain points of mold deformation and short service life in traditional repair. According to third-party testing data, the lifespan of car bumper molds repaired using this system has been extended from 80000 pieces to 200000 pieces, and the product qualification rate has increased from 92% to 99.5%. General Manager Wang of Daokedao stated, "Automotive molds have strict requirements for accuracy and lifespan. After 3 years of technical research, we have established a process database covering more than 100 types of molds, which can achieve one click retrieval of repair parameters." Currently, the system has passed the IATF 16949 automotive industry quality system certification, and the next step will be to expand to high-end fields such as new energy vehicle battery shell molds.
