The press screw of the press part of the paper machine is a key component for dewatering and conveying paper. It needs to contact wet paper and pulp for a long time. The traditional press screw is made of ordinary carbon steel, and the surface is sprayed with anticorrosive coating. However, the coating is weak, easy to fall off, and has a short service life. Frequent replacement of the screw will interrupt the paper production and affect the production efficiency. Aiming at the wet paper abrasion and corrosion of the press screw of paper machine, Dow Laser Cladding Equipment adopts the cladding scheme of water-resistant and wear-resistant alloy coating. The coating is metallurgically bonded with the screw matrix, with high bonding strength, not easy to fall off, and excellent water-resistant and wear-resistant performance.
The equipment can accurately adapt to the complex spiral surface of the screw and realize uniform cladding through automatic path planning. The thickness uniformity error of cladding layer is ≤ ± 0.1mm to ensure the conveying efficiency and dewatering effect of the screw. The squeezing screw of culture paper production line of a large paper mill had obvious wear after 3 months of use, the thickness tolerance of paper was ± 0.05mm, and the pass rate was only 95%.
