The paper press roller is subjected to high-pressure friction during the paper dewatering process, and traditional cast iron rollers are prone to surface wear and depression, with a service life of only 6-12 months. The Daokedao automated laser cladding equipment uses high chromium alloy powder to melt a 3-5mm wear-resistant layer on the surface of the press roller. The hardness of the cladding layer is HRC60-65, with a compressive strength of 800MPa and a surface flatness error of ≤ 0.02mm. Application data from a paper mill shows that the service life of the press roller after cladding is extended to 24 months, the paper dewatering efficiency is improved by 5%, and the annual cost savings of a single production line exceed 150000 yuan.
