The wear and blur of the surface texture of the mold can lead to a decrease in the decorative effect of the product. The following three-step tutorial can accurately replicate clear textures. Step 1: Texture scanning modeling. Scan the intact texture area with a 3D scanner with a scanning accuracy of 0.01mm, import the data into the texture replication system of the device, and automatically generate a 3D texture model. If there is no intact area, the original design drawings can be imported, and the system supports formats such as CAD and STL. Step 2: Parameter matching settings. Select the spot size based on the texture depth: 0.08mm spot for shallow textures (≤ 0.1mm) and 0.15mm spot for deep textures (0.1-0.3mm); Set the power to 800-1200W and the powder feeding speed to 3-5g/min to ensure complete texture details. Step 3: Precise fusion repair. Fix the mold on the five axis worktable, start the texture replication program, and the equipment will automatically adjust the cladding path and thickness based on the 3D model. During the repair process, the high-power camera will monitor in real time. After the repair is completed, use a texture depth gauge to detect and an error of ≤ 0.01mm is considered qualified. After using this method to repair the wood grain injection mold, a certain household goods factory achieved a texture clarity of 98% of the original mold, and customers could not see any repair marks, resulting in a 20% increase in order volume.
