The mold cavity of lithium battery separator is prone to wear and tear due to thin film stretching. The hardness of the mold cavity treated with traditional nitriding is low (HRC55-58), and the thickness deviation of the separator increases after wear, resulting in unstable internal resistance of the battery. The service life of the mold is only 10000-20000 cycles.
