The mold cavity of lithium battery pole ear is prone to wear and tear due to metal foil erosion. The hardness of the mold cavity treated with traditional quenching is low (HRC58-60), and the cutting accuracy of the pole ear decreases after wear, resulting in poor battery connection. The service life of the mold is only 10000-20000 molds.
The Daokedao laser cladding equipment uses wear-resistant and anti stick alloy powder to deposit a dense coating on the surface of the mold cavity, with a hardness of HRC65-68 and wear resistance three times that of quenching treatment.
