During paddy field operation, the harrow blades not only break the soil block and level the field surface, but also be immersed in acidic water containing humus for a long time. The dual loss of "rust+wear" is prominent: the traditional harrow blades are applied with ordinary painting for rust prevention, and the rust and perforation will occur in one rice planting season, and the cutting edge wear is more than 0.5mm, which results in the decline of field leveling accuracy and affects the quality of transplanting. Many farmers said: "The harrow blades in paddy fields are changed more frequently than chopsticks, and the cost is too high in rainy seasons or even once a month." The traditional thermal spraying anti-corrosion coating is easy to fall off in paddy fields, and the anti-rust effect can only be maintained for 1-2 weeks.

The Dow Laser Cladding Equipment specially customizes the nickel-chromium-molybdenum anti-corrosion and wear-resistant composite coating for paddy field working conditions. Through the laser cladding technology, a dense protective layer is formed on the rake blade surface, and the density of the coating is up to 99.8%, which can effectively isolate acidic water and humus erosion. Through 5000 hours of salt spray test, the coating has no corrosion trace, and the hardness reaches HRC60, and the abrasion resistance is 4 times of that of the traditional rake blade. Special fixture is designed for rake blade multi-tooth structure to realize synchronous cladding of multiple rake blades. Coating thickness uniformity error ≤ 0.05mm, without affecting rake blade assembly accuracy.
