According to the working characteristics of brake discs, Daokedao laser cladding usually adopts a double-layer coating structure: the first layer is stainless steel or nickel free steel that has good bonding with the substrate, mainly for buffering and anti-corrosion purposes; The second layer is a mixture of carbides (such as titanium carbide or tungsten carbide) and steel, providing high hardness and excellent wear resistance. This design significantly reduces fine dust emissions and provides better oxidation and corrosion resistance compared to traditional brake discs, making coated brake discs particularly suitable for electric vehicles with low frequency of use and susceptibility to corrosion.
