Hot forging molds are prone to surface cracking and oxidation during high-temperature forging. Traditional welding repair easily generates hot cracks, affecting mold life. Daokedao Laser Cladding equipment adopts an integrated preheating-cladding-post-heating process, which can preheat the mold to 300-500℃, effectively reducing thermal stress and avoiding crack generation. High-temperature mold steel is used as the cladding material, with the cladding layer having a high-temperature resistance of 800℃ and oxidation resistance improved by 5 times. The equipment can accurately repair mold cracking areas, with a tight bond between the cladding layer and the matrix. After repair, the mold can undergo more than 5,000 forging operations, helping forging enterprises reduce mold replacement frequency and improve production efficiency.
