EV power battery connectors transmit high-voltage power between battery packs and other components, requiring high insulation, flame retardancy, and hermetic sealing, operating under high voltage (up to 1000V) and high current. Traditional assembly methods have poor insulation and sealing, leading to short circuit risks. DaokeDao plastic laser welding provides a high-reliability solution for flame-retardant PC/ABS and PA66-GF connector housings, complying with UL94 V-0 standards and IEC 62133 safety regulations. The laser forms a molecular-level hermetic seal (IP67 rating), blocking moisture and dust, and the heat-affected zone ≤0.2mm, preserving insulation performance (insulation resistance ≥10¹²Ω). The non-contact process generates no debris, avoiding internal circuit contamination, and supports automated production with a cycle time of 9-12 seconds per unit, production capacity 75 pieces per hour, helping EV manufacturers improve high-voltage system safety and reliability.
