In the core process of chemical production, screws, as key components for material transportation, have long faced severe challenges of acid-base corrosion. I will expand on the technical advantages, practical application data, and effects of the Daokedao laser cladding equipment, highlighting the improvement of screw performance by the equipment.

In the production process of the chemical industry, the screw, as the core component of material conveying, comes into direct contact with strong corrosive media such as acid and alkali for a long time. Traditional screw materials will experience failures such as thread wear and surface peeling due to corrosion in an extreme acidic and alkaline environment with a pH value of 1-13 within an average of only 2 months. Frequent shutdowns and replacements not only increase maintenance costs, but also lead to the forced interruption of the entire production line, resulting in incalculable economic losses.

Daokedao's automated laser cladding equipment has successfully overcome this industry challenge with advanced special anti-corrosion alloy coating technology. This technology uses high-purity nickel based and cobalt based alloy powders, which are instantly melted onto the surface of the screw through precise laser beams to form a dense and uniform protective layer. After testing, the porosity of the coating is strictly controlled at ≤ 0.5%, which not only isolates corrosive media, but also has excellent wear resistance and high temperature resistance.

Taking a large chemical enterprise as an example, the screw responsible for transporting acidic and alkaline solutions needs to be replaced 2-3 times a month due to corrosion issues. After introducing the Daokedao laser cladding technology, customized coating treatment is carried out on the screw: first, the surface of the screw is pre treated, and then uniformly coated at a speed of 5-8 millimeters per second through laser cladding equipment, finally forming a 0.3-0.5 millimeter thick anti-corrosion layer. Actual application data shows that the service life of the melted screw has been significantly extended from the original 2 months to 8 months, the equipment failure rate has decreased by 75%, the production line downtime has been reduced by 80%, and more than one million equipment maintenance and production interruption costs have been saved for enterprises every year, significantly improving production efficiency and economic benefits.
