After a 0.1-0.3mm hot crack appears on the brake disc, traditional methods can only be scrapped and replaced, resulting in resource waste. Daokedao adopts pulse laser cladding technology, which first locates cracks through ultrasonic flaw detection, and then removes and fills the cracks with a 200KHz pulse laser. The porosity of the cladding layer is ≤ 0.1%, and no new cracks are generated. Using alloy powder that matches the material of the brake disc, the repaired brake disc has a strength of 95% of the original material and has undergone 50000 brake tests without crack propagation. The repair cost of the Φ 300mm brake disc is 800 yuan, saving 1200 yuan compared to the newer disc, and the repair cycle is only 4 hours. After being applied in a certain automobile repair shop, more than 300 brake discs are repaired annually, with an annual income increase of 240000 yuan. It is suitable for repairing hot cracks in various types of brake discs such as passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
